I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your support with our children and families since I have been at GGA working on SEND. You really are an inspirational person to work with and the going ‘above and beyond’ is a credit to your clear passion for children.

“Please pass on a HUGE “Thanks” to Paula. I really appreciate the time that she took to work with Evie and the feedback to myself and school. I finally feel a level of relief that someone else has seen what I see with Evie. The report is extremely detailed and I know it will support us as a family- but most importantly, Evie.”
“Hattie absolutely loved working with Sharon, she came home buzzing that day and said what fun it was and I’m so pleased that it was a positive experience for her on the day”
“We have read and digested the report, and it has really helped us to better understand why Hattie feels the way that she does about school. It has helped us to ‘get her’ a little bit more at home too and has facilitated conversations with Hattie where she has been able to express her feelings about school work more clearly, which we wouldn’t otherwise have had.”
“Thank you for yet another inspiring session. New teachers and teaching assistance were chatting in the staffroom and around school after about how inspiring it was.”
“So not only a thank you from me but also a huge thank you from all the staff.
As a headteacher, choosing the right CPD for staff is vital to achieving the aims of any development plans. Too often, CPD can lack impact because it is not closely aligned to the specific aims of the plan, does not take into account the context of the school, or is inaccessible to staff of all levels.
Working with Rob led to direct and measurable impact in our school. He knew the staff and the context, and had met many of our most challenging children. He delivered training which was memorable and well received by teachers and teaching assistants alike, based on conversations with the leadership team to ensure that key messages were remembered. During the time Rob has worked with the school, there has been a marked increase in the confidence of staff to cope effectively with high levels of need and importantly, to support each other with effective strategies.
Robʼs training was in line with the key messages and strategies he recommended in his educational psychology reports on individuals, helping staff to see how these could be integrated into wider practice. Many of these became core themes through our behaviour and teaching and learning policies.
